Celebrity Rides - Mariah Carey

R&B singer Mariah Carey is one busy lady. She recently joined fellow musicians Keith Urban, Randy Jackson and Nicki Minaj at the judges’ table on season 12 of FOX’s hit reality singing competition American Idol. When she is not critiquing others’ musical abilities (or lack thereof), she goes in to the studio and cranks out music of her own. On May 9, Carey premiered the music video for her new single, “#Beautiful.” She revealed in a behind-the-scenes clip that the vintage red roadster her duet partner, Miguel, drives in the video actually belonged to her late father, Alfred.

“It’s very exciting for me because we’re featuring my father’s [Porsche Speedster] that he had his whole life and never was able to finish it up, and I did that in honor of him,” Carey said. “This is the first time anyone’s ever going to really see it--for me, it’s a big deal.”

Carey is no stranger to luxury automobiles; she and her hubby, Nick Cannon, are known to have a growing collection of pricey driving machines. For Carey’s birthday last year, Cannon bought her a black Mercedes Benz SLK. It has personalized headrests with pink embroidered M’s for “Mariah.”

It seems that Cannon’s hosting gig on America's Got Talent is really paying off. In 2010, he gave Carey two brand new vehicles: a hot pink Porsche Cayenne SUV and a $400,000 Rolls Royce Phantom. The Rolls Royce was gifted to Carey after she birthed the couple’s fraternal twins, Monroe and Moroccan. Its license plate reads “MOMMYMC.”
