On April 15, Live Nation Entertainment said in a statement that Rihanna had to postpone her Houston concert because of an illness. It was the singer’s third canceled performance since her Diamonds World Tour started in March. The tour is Rihanna’s fifth; her Loud Tour in 2011 was seen by more than 1.2 million people and grossed about $90 million.
It would be an understatement to say that the Barbadian-born beauty is doing pretty well for herself. In December of last year, Rihanna dropped $12 million on an 11,000-square-foot mansion that sits on a sprawling estate in the west L.A. neighborhood of Pacific Palisades. The stunning home has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a four-car garage.
As it turns out, Rihanna picked the perfect time to invest in major real estate. After all, she needs a house to house her flashy new rides. In December, RiRi’s record label (owned by hip hop mogul Jay-Z) gifted her with an early Christmas present: a Porsche 911 Turbo S. The vehicle is worth an estimated $160,000. It seems that Rihanna was a very good girl in 2012; her songs “Talk That Talk” and “Where Have You Been” were global smash hits.
Rihanna is probably the “Only Girl (In the World)” to have two shiny, new cars under her Christmas tree. After she received her sweet set of wheels from Mr. Carter, Rihanna got another holiday surprise—her on-again, off-again boyfriend Chris “Breezy” Brown hooked her up with a Lamborghini that is reportedly worth $750,000.
