Rental, gift, purchase—does it really matter how you got to be driving the car you’re in? At that moment, it’s yours. Bow Wow—aka Shad Gregory Moss—seems to have a new vehicle du jour frequently. He acquires them through various and sundry ways. However, it all adds up to an impressive collection of cars, whether they’re his for the week, month or for years. Lil’ Bow Wow’s rise to stardom started before he could legally drive, but he’s definitely enjoying the perks of his career now. Here’s a few of his favorite rides most of us wouldn’t mind taking for a spin.
BMW i8
Who would say no to a BMW i8 for your birthday? Hopefully, no one. This super-slick sports car makes a bold statement. It combines performance and economics in one stunning package. Not only does it involve electric car innovations, but a combustion engine that still provides the driver with a bit of a thrill. Starting at a cool $187,500, the i8 packs an impressive visual punch. Bow Wow’s custom car was a gift from fiancé Erica Mena. The futuristic finishes and personalized touches made it a standup choice. It’s easy to get noticed with swan-wing doors, a fab grille, custom tricks and sleek lines. Car reviewers rave about the handling, calling it an excellent effort by BMW. Bow Wow’s main squeeze certainly showed her love when she got this unbelievable ride for her man.
BMW 645
The 645 is the car you tote your mom around in. Since Bow Wow lives in the same city as his mother, it’s a good thing for him to have on hand. A more sedate vehicle for his lineup, the black 645 boasts some great features. The coupe has ample space, luxurious features, and BMW’s signature performance. What’s not to like?
Mercedes-Benz SL Convertible
Formerly known as the Roadster, the SL is classy, classic and stylish. It’s a top-notch addition to any garage with its superb turbocharged engine. The newer models possess a lighter shell, and buyers have the ability to choose from a couple suspension systems. Although Bow Wow probably doesn’t need it, the newest SLs also have additional interior room, making it an extremely comfortable ride.
Hummer H2
A celebrity garage wouldn’t be complete without the signature Hummer H2. Longer, taller and lighter than the H1, it is a popular ride when you’ve got five of your best friends to haul around for a night on the town.
Flying Spur Bentley
The custom white matte Bentley was a fantastic purchase by Bow Wow, even if rumor has it that it’s now been repossessed. The 4-door Bentley starts at around $200,000, and has a monstrous V12 engine. Bow Wow’s custom ride had matching white wheels and black tails.
Ferraris Abound
- Ferrari F430 – There’s a bit of a sordid story behind Bow Wow’s leased F430, but who cares, it’s still a heck of a ride. The slick red car has top speeds around 202 mph, and features a sweet design. The F430 boasts excellent electronic capabilities, which improve handling and response.
- Ferrari 360 Modena – The 360 Modena was designed to enhance the feeling of speed. Part of its thrill comes from the thunderous rumbling that promises power. Bow Wow’s 360 was finished in a eye-popping yellow, which flashed a big “look at me” to fans when it was featured on MTV Cribs.
Bow Wow has also had a Lamborghini and Porsche among many other rumored vehicles. One thing is for sure—the rapper/actor may want to invest in a financial manager sooner than later so he can hold onto some of his purchases. One way to keep your garages fully stocked is to always have money on hand. The moral of the story is—when you hit big young and are still under 30, you still have some life lessons to learn.
