Tyga is one of those rappers that while talented and popular, has made far more headlines with his relationships. His most current sidekicks, 19-year-old Kylie Jenner and 21-year-old Demi Rose Mawby are the latest in a long list of celebutantes. Before them, Tyga was connected with Blac Chyna (with whom he fathered a child), Annalu Cardoso, and many others. In fact, the only thing Tyga (aka Micheal Ray Stevenson) likes as much as beautiful women is cars.
Although Tyga has a history of pesky repossessions as well as gifting expensive vehicles, he still has managed to boast a drool-worthy car collection much of the time. Like many celebrity car fanatics, it’s almost impossible to know what’s in his garage at any given time, but here are some of the cars he has owned at one time or another.
Mercedes SLS AMG Coupe
Priced at just over $200,000, the SLS AMG Coupe is a pristine specimen. With sleek features and plenty of power, it tops many lists of those looking for the ultimate performance machine. Set low and wide, Mercedes has made the AMG Coupe lightweight, uber-controllable and added incredibly fun features to make it a winning ride. Some of the highlights include luxury interior with the exclusive Black Series detail, gullwing doors and top-notch safety features. The Mercedes SLS AMG Coupe has won numerous design awards, and is or has been owned by celebs like Al Pacino, Tom Hanks, Jay Leno, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy and, of course, Tyga.
Lamborghini Aventador
Car test drivers and reviewers have a very good time with the Lamborghini Aventador—in fact, they have so much fun they wonder if it’s legal (jokingly, of course). The V12 engine, however, is no joke. It’s a lot of power and performance wrapped up in a pretty package. Tyga’s beautiful, sweet whip was set to be repossessed after he failed to make some payments on the car worth over $400,000. It also got hauled away when it didn’t have plates. And finally, it was involved in a crash. None of that matters though—he’s driven and owned the Aventador, and that is more than most people can say.
Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe
The Rolls Royce Phantom has become the car for discerning celebrities. Tyga’s Phantom Coupe has a lot going for it. For the hefty $400,000+ price tag, he gets the highest level of luxury possible. From small details like a picnic trunk and front and rear parking cameras to more standout options like the starlight headliner, Rolls Royce has been an industry standard for luxury for decades, and Tyga’s Phantom is no exception.
Vintage Fotgiato Impala
With the more common rides chosen by celebrities, it’s always nice to see something with a little more character. Tyga’s Fortgiato Impala offers that in spades. The stunning convertible has been personalized in the best way possible, and is an excellent standout to Tyga’s collection.
Mercedes SLR McLaren
The Mercedes SLR McLaren is a worthy ride. It offers top-of-the-line technological features in addition to the classic styling of Mercedes. The McLaren offers an innovative brake system, creative aerodynamics and a supercharged engine. Tyga’s black McLaren is pampered and polished, and was acquired from Scott Disick—Blac Chyna’s current man.
Mercedes G-wagon
After Tyga’s multiple pricey rides that often go in the hundreds of thousands, his G-wagon is likely the most affordable ride in the garage. Although the G-wagon was initially created for off road use, today it has become more commonly seen in the urban jungle. The once rustic ride has taken on a sleeker design in recent years, making it a top choice for singers, rappers and actors. Mercedes has decked out the latest G-wagons with high-end tech features as well as infused the interior with maximum luxury. It’s an ideal ride for tooling around town when you want some extra passengers, or if you want to blend in on the roadyways a little more.
Tyga has proved himself an excellent collector of cars, and it will be interesting to see what rides he chooses in the future. The only advice we’d give him is to always pay on time—his credit depend on it.
